This Privacy Policy explains how BCM VENTURE INTEGRATED CORPORATION ("we", "us") handles information when you use TikTok Profile Viewer (the "Service"). The Service lets you sign in with your TikTok account and view your own TikTok profile and public videos on this website.
1. Information we access
When you choose "Continue with TikTok", TikTok asks you to grant the Service the permissions (scopes) below. We only access the data covered by the scopes you grant:
user.info.basic: Avatar, display name and open ID.user.info.profile: Username, bio, verified status and profile link.user.info.stats: Follower, following, like and video counts.video.list: Your public videos and their cover, title, description, duration, view/like/comment/share counts and links.
TikTok also gives us an access token and a refresh token so we can request this data on your behalf. We never receive your TikTok password.
Like most websites, our web server and hosting providers may record technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your request, for security and troubleshooting.
2. How we use information
- To show you your TikTok profile and your public videos on this website.
- To keep you signed in until you log out or your session expires.
We do not use your TikTok data for advertising, profiling or any purpose other than displaying it back to you. We never post, edit or delete anything on your TikTok account.
3. Storage and retention
- We do not store your TikTok profile or video data in any database. It is fetched from TikTok each time you load the page and discarded after the page is sent to your browser.
- Your access and refresh tokens are kept only in an encrypted, HttpOnly cookie in your own browser. The cookie expires after 30 days, or immediately when you click "Log out".
- Technical server logs are kept only for a limited time for security and troubleshooting.
4. Sharing
We do not sell, rent or share your information with third parties. Your data is only exchanged with TikTok (to fetch the data you authorized) and with the infrastructure providers that host and deliver this website, and only as needed to run the Service. We may disclose information if required by law.
5. Your choices
- Click "Log out" at any time to delete the session cookie from your browser.
- You can revoke the Service's access at any time from your TikTok account settings, in the list of apps and services connected to your account. After that we can no longer access your data.
- You can deny any optional permission on the TikTok consent screen; the related information will simply not be shown.
6. Security
All traffic to the Service uses HTTPS. Tokens are encrypted with AES-GCM before being stored in your browser, and our TikTok app secret is kept only on our server.
7. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. You must meet TikTok's minimum age requirements to use TikTok and this Service.
8. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the date above will be updated.
